We apologize that your order has not yet reached you. For all domestic orders we are able to file claims with the postal service if the order has not been marked as "Delivered" 45 days from the ship date. We recommend speaking to the postal service directly to see if they can provide updates before the 45 days have passed. After 45 days please contact our customer service team at info@midtowncomics.com with your order number and we will assist you right away! Please note all claims must be made within 2 weeks from the about listed time frames so we can assist you.

For international orders that are shipped using either Priority Mail International or Express Mail International we must allow the postal service 60 days from the ship date for the orders to reach you. Every comic book is shipped to our customers in a Midtown Comics brand peel-and-stick bag and board, absolutely FREE. Midtown comic book bags are 2.25ga thick polypropylene, and feature a 2-inch re-sealable flap that makes comic book archiving and storage easier than ever. Our boards are acid free and completely archival safe. (Please note that clearance books, grab bags, and odd-sized comics may not be bagged and boarded.)

Due to the collectibility of the comics and merchandise we sell, we are unable to accept returns on comic books, back issues, and books. If you are uncertain about the grade of your comic book, please review our Grading Glossary, which details how Midtown Comics grades all comics. Graphic novels, (including trade paperbacks, hardcovers, and manga) are stored and handled with great care, but may incur minor cosmetic "dents or dings" due to shelf life and we do not offer assistance with any claims for damaged graphic novels. If you still feel you've received a damaged or mis-shipped item, please contact us at info@midtowncomics.com and we can look into this. Please be aware that we need to be contacted within 2 weeks of the delivery date of an order to resolve any potential order issues.

When you are logged in to midtowncomics.com, click "wish list" on the desired item, and you will see the item in your account, under "wishlisted." You will be charged for the item only when it comes in and is ready for shipping.

You can cancel your order as long as you do so before it's marked "ready to ship". To cancel your order please contact our customer service team at 800-411-3341, or by email at info@midtowncomics.com or by live chat at midtowncomics.com

Domestic: Shipping cost is determined by the dollar amount of your order (your Pull List titles to be shipped this week), like all orders from midtowncomics.com. (Click here to view shipping chart). Free In-Store Pick Up is also available at all our four store locations. Pick up at the store location of your choice with no additional cost.

At Midtown Comics we use Overstreet guidelines for grading and pricing. If you have any questions about an item, please contact us at info@midtowncomics.com before purchasing. Midtown Comics uses Overstreet values as a benchmark, but all of our comics are actually priced lower.

We certainly do! If you have any old comics, toys, or collectibles you'd like to sell, please email our buyer at webuy@midtowncomics.com. We pay cash, or, for an even better deal, with a Midtown Comics gift card. We're sorry, but we are not currently purchasing sports trading cards.

Some comics are released with codes for additional digital content included, at the discretion of the publisher. We never consider the validity or presence of these digital codes when grading our comics. Additionally, we cannot guarantee that any digital codes present will be unused or still valid in comics older than 30 days.

In addition to language, publishers also have to take into account the differences between comic styles around the world, including Japanese manga, Chinese manhua, Korean manhwa, American comics. For example, comics can be laid out page by page or use vertical scrolling. Some languages read from left to right, while others go from right to left.

3b. This makes drawing certain subjects more challenging, e.g. blades of grass, hair. Whether this will affect your work will depend on the type of art you create. If you draw professional comics, then the pen performance may not be good enough.

You begin by creating a dedicated Comixology account or logging in with your existing Amazon credentials. Purchased digital comics are tied to your account, so you can access the books via your PC's web browser or one of Comixology's Android or iOS mobile apps. Comixology is free to download, but you must pay for individual issues or the $5.99 per month subscription plan (more on those options in a bit).

When you find a book that interests you, click an issue icon to see its synopsis, creator credits, pricing, rating, and sample pages you can try before buying. Building a digital comic book collection is as simple as clicking price icons to place the comics into the shopping cart, and then clicking the Purchase icon. You can also add titles to a wishlist to buy them at a later time. The potent combination of accessibility and ease of use means that comics-heads may have to show some restraint in order to not drain their wallets.

Unfortunately, many pre-1980s books are missing in action. The large holes in the Spitfire and the Troubleshooters series, for example, are disappointing. The rival Marvel Unlimited all-you-can-read subscription service has many books that haven't yet appeared in Comixology, so that's worth checking out if you're looking for back issues. That said, Comixology is working on digitizing many old-school comics.

In fact, Comixology sells many books from the pre-superhero era, such as Tales from the Crypt, Two-Fisted Tales, and Weird Love. So, in a way, Comixology has become an incredible comics archive, with titles spanning many eras.

If buying individual comics and collections isn't exactly your bag, Comixology Unlimited may prove enticing. The all-you-can-eat subscription service lets you read more than 20,000 select comics from a variety of publishers, including Archie, DC, Dark Horse, Fantagraphics, and Marvel. Comixology Unlimited is a tremendous value to US readers (it's set to roll out to other regions in the future), as the service lets you explore new titles at zero financial risk beyond the monthly service charge.

Unfortunately, Comixology Unlimited only includes a fraction of Comixology's total library. Of course, once you end your subscription, you lose access to the comics that you didn't purchase. That said, the titles you buy as a Comixology Unlimited subscriber receive at least a 10-percent discount (and the discount stacks with any other sales that Comixology has at the moment).

The Fit to Width (found in the Settings option) and Zoom modes also let you control the camera for a more pleasurable viewing experience. Comixology's multiple viewing options let me enjoy my comics regardless of my device's screen size.

Comixology's Smart Lists aren't revolutionary, but they give you handy, at-a-glance information about your digital comics collection. They let you quickly track what you've been reading with the In Progress and Unread lists, show what you've bought with the Recently Purchased list, and offer a new way to maintain your Wish List.

By visiting Comixology.com, you can download comics to your PC's desktop in the DRM-free CBZ and PDF formats. This means you can read books purchased from Comixology in digital comic book apps, such as Perfect Viewer and YACReader once you transfer the files from your PC to your mobile device. Sadly, you cannot download DRM-free comics via Comixology's mobile apps.

Comic book fans who want to buy and read their digital comics on a desktop or laptop rather than on a smartphone or tablet will love Comixology. There are back catalog gaps, but if you prefer reading Transmetropolitan without worrying about mylar bags and backing boards, Editors' Choice Comixology is an excellent way to read digital comics on a computer, smartphone, or tablet. 2ff7e9595c
